Well – here we are taking the first scary steps into tec-dom. This week I resolve to understand Twitter (believe me I have tried so many times but still have a block with it) and Tweet myself! All the press is full of social networking sites (apparently now just called ’social’) and how they are the place to be seen. I don’t even have a facebook page – that too is in my list of things to do. Never one to be a Luddite or to fear change I intend jumping in with both feet and then worry about the carnage no doubt that will ensue.
As I have very little idea of what I am doing with this, I hope to respond to anyone who interacts here if indeed that’s how it works. What spurred me on was overhearing two ‘oldies’ or ‘tiques’ as the youth of today will refer to them (short for antiques apparently) having a conversation about missing a TV programme and catching up on their ‘I-Player’. How very 21st Century darling, I thought, and how far more enlightened than I am currently!
